IVAN VALENTINI
saxophonist/composer
Ivan Valentini works as a musician (saxophonist and composer) and as a teacher. His musical activity regards improvised music connected to other forms of art. He has been regularly collaborating, among other, with the pianist Franco D'Andrea, the dancer Teri Weikel, the poet Alberto Bertoni, the song writer Vinicio Capossela and Orchestra Spaziale. He published under his own name the CDs: Paz, Senza Famiglia, Slanting , Il Teatro Impossibile, Light and Darkness and, regarding music and poetry, the CDs La casa azzurra and Viaggi. All the albums offer his own compositions. Interested in inner research, philosophy and meditation, he proposes an activity based on phenomenology of music hearing.
